Christmas Day

The boys were very pleased with their Lego creators and D has made his into all 3 dinosaur options already! We went to the holy communion service at our local church. A very different kind of service compared to what we are used to but we increasingly feel that we should be doing church in our local community.  The vicar and his wife and the congregation have made us feel very welcome during our recent visits.

We enjoyed a Wallington family style Christmas dinner of turkey, sweet potato mash, carrots, broccoli and mange tout. We had a scoop of ice cream and a freshly baked cookie for pudding.

We enjoyed a walk in Richmond park in the afternoon, dodging the large puddles!  We came home to prepare tea for the rest of my family who all arrived at 5pm looking green around the gills after over indulging at lunch time.  We were looking forward to a smoked salmon sandwich after an early morning run and a 2 hour afternoon walk!
